Building DePixel for the long term.
DePixel exists because I believe technology should do more of the adapting.

A letter from the founder
Most technology asks people to learn its interfaces, manage its notifications, maintain its dashboards, and continuously make decisions about how to use it.
I think that relationship is backwards.
The technology should understand more, ask less, and become quieter as it becomes more capable.
That’s what we’re trying to build at DePixel.
The Ring is the first expression of that idea — a device designed to sense continuously, interpret on-device, and eventually become useful without requiring a person to operate it.
But the Ring is not the destination.
I’m interested in the longer question: what happens when technology can understand a person well enough that the interface itself starts to disappear?
That’s the problem I want to spend the next decade working on.
